The soul of Mana Soils resides in Sonny and Lanice, president and vice-president respectively. Let us tell you how we got here. Professionalism denoting outstanding competence, dedicated customer service, and a high-quality product is just part of who we are. We have a passion for what we are doing, and we have strong beliefs and values about sustainability and the health of our community as well as the larger community. We both grew up learning a love of gardening from our families as well as concern about the health of our environment. We have carried that into our professional lives.
Both Lanice and I have spent the past four years preparing the core of Mana Soils products: soil production, composition, and use of organic amendments. Before becoming president of Mana Soils I worked on irrigation, design, landscaping, nursery work, and silvaculture, and spent thirteen years as owner and operator of a construction company designing and building custom housing, specializing in environmentally sound construction. I have done LEED and ENERGY STAR certifications on straw bale houses.
Before becoming vice-president of Mana Soils, I worked for professional organic farms in Hawaii and Colorado. It is from my family that the long-treasured and exceptionally successful recipe for Mana Soils originated.
